About Us

Set in the heart of the Green Mountains, Timbers Real Estate
is an integral part of the small town community of Jeffersonville.

Sit on the front porch with a cold or steaming hot beverage and discuss your property and life-style preferences with me. In the summer watch the constant parade of runners, bikers, paddlers, and hikers pass by while I tell you about the myriad of property options in the area. In the winter months, carloads of skiers, snowboarders, and ice climbers cruise past packed with gear, heading to the mountain to get in a days worth of epic adventure. I am an avid back-country skier, mountain biker and kayaker, and I love to talk about all the sports related activities in the area, as well as provide information about local schools and community-based activities.

Mike Timbers

Although I am certainly willing to provide access to properties in the greater Burlington area, I specialize in the mountain communities of Bolton, Richmond, Jericho, Underhill, Cambridge (which includes Jeffersonville), Waterville, Bakersfield, Johnson, Hyde Park, Morrisville, and Eden. Feel free to contact me at my office or home phone, by email, or simply drop by and join me on the porch. If you can’t find me using any of those methods, your best bet is to look for me on the slopes or biking trails. C’mon and join me!

Eric A. Furs

While growing up in Connecticut, I was introduced to this region while on a ski trip to Smugglers Notch during my high school years. Since then I yearned to move to the mountains and dreamed of owning my own Bed and Breakfast Inn. Vermont seemed to me the perfect place to settle. I graduated from Johnson State College with a degree in Hospitality and Tourism, and I have worked in various positions at Topnotch Resort and Spa for the last ten years. Topnotch’s mission to provide the highest quality service helps me cater to my clients needs as well as offer the finest attention to detail in the industry. I find that this experience translates extremely well to selling real estate and serving my customers.

Currently, I live in Hyde Park with my wife Kati, son Elian, dogs Calder and Arlo and cats Q-tip and Viskya. My family loves our home, the mountains and the lifestyle that the lovely state of Vermont has helped us build. I hope that the services I provide will help you achieve all of the goals you have for your life in the state of Vermont.

Ethan Mauer

I was born in New York City, and I graduated in 1994 from Wheaton College in Norton, MA with a degree in American Studies and a middle and high school teaching endorsement in social studies.

Since coming to Vermont to chase snow and to work in the educational field, I continue to be impressed by the beauty and homegrown products of Vermont.  It is in this state that I was fortunate enough to meet my wife, Beth, an amazing woman whose strength and beauty inspires me everyday.

After ten years working as an educator, I began pursuing opportunities as a real estate agent.  In the summer of 2005, I earned my salesperson license and am currently working on my broker’s license.

I pursue a variety of recreational activities and love getting outdoors whether it summer, spring, winter, or fall.  It seems like each season has its own flavor and I welcome each one as I embrace the opportunity to work with people who identify with Vermont’s beauty and culture and help them reach their dream of owning property here in Vermont.

Whether it is a multi-unit building in the Burlington area or a mountain home nestled in the woods, I hope to bring energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism to each and every person who works with me.
